Greetings Everyone! I just recently started to do some serious bass fishing. I had done some from a boat in the past but it has been years and didn't do very good. I had major surgery this past spring and was not allowed to do anything strenuous like fly-fishing, which is what I have done a lot of in the past. The landowner where I hunt turkeys said to come out to his place as he had a major creek running through his property as well as a pond full of bass. I've never been a 'bank' fisherman. As you can imagine, I got hooked real fast! I did well in the pond and am currently fishing in a reservoir not far from my home. I've done fairly well there as well including (which I will post elsewhere) a 21 inch, 5 lb. largemouth. Not hard to get hooked when you have one of those on your line! I have been looking for a bass fishing forum and browsed some posts here and the members seem friendly and helpful and I like your high standards for those who post. I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can and posting and making new friends. I am definitely hooked on bass fishing, it's a rush when you feel that tug and the line straightens and...well, you know what I mean! I also love to hunt deer and turkey and just love the outdoors!
