Savage gear mega swimbait!! 1.5 pounds!

Featured Replies

Has any one fished the new savage gear mega line thur swimbait? It's 16 in long and weighs 1.5 pounds!!! It does cost 65$ so it's not cheap just wondering what y'all think of it!

I could see a giant bass eating that, but I don't know that I would ever throw one. Makes more sense for muskie or something I think.

It's designed as a trolling bait for muskies I believe. Not sure there are many swimbait rods that would eve handle something that heavy. I suppose a true trophy bass would eat it if given the chance.

It looks amazing in the water, but it's bigger than a lot of bass I catch on swimbaits.
