Wish I could make the trip. But my back right now is keeping me from fishing around home. But I will fish that lake some day soon.

News alert!!!

From the Toledo Bend Lunker Program

 

Curious anglers  as of 2-19-17 we are at 44; 2-19-16 we were at 61 and we handed out 139 that year; and 02-19-15 we were at 26 and we handed out 81 that year.  We had 6 fish over 10 turned in this weekend.  The fish are coming in steady and I will keep everyone updated with the numbers.

I and 3 others (2 from Mi and 2 from KY) will be at F-N-F from the 18-22, then heading over to Conroe for the rest of the week. It would be good to meet those that are there... Maybe we can learn a thing or two from some of the wisdom that will be flowing there.

Ryan Pinkston of Center caught this 14.20-pound largemouth Saturday while fishing in the Bass-N-Bucks tournament on Toledo Bend Reservoir.

We had a front blow through Saturday night, not sure what the effects will be!

 

I'm hearing they are catching everywhere on everything, well before the front that is.

Leaving for Texas in a couple of hours.
