So for anyone that lives in the southern states, particularly South Carolina, please let me know of any home or apartment rentals available for my in-laws so they don't try to live with me.  Handicap accessible and small dog friendly.  Option number one is them finding a place in South Carolina.  Option number three is staying with my wife and me.  Option number two is suicide...so please, I beg you, find me a place.

Did.  Crisis averted.  My wife, who wants them to stay with us less than I do, found them an apartment to rent until they find a house to buy.  Whew.  That was close.

My daughter and boyfriend are losing their house in a month....I won't tolerate them moving in.Several reasons.I have a feeling my wife doesn't feel the same way.....

It is when comparing it to living with your in-laws. 

I didn't comment earlier to see how this worked out. Based on the tone of the thread, I am guessing the in-laws were not anymore looking forward to living with you than you were to have them. I've been around long enough to know that family can be a real challenge. They are family nonetheless, and as such require us to do the best we can to help. Good luck.

In a few weeks I'm retiring and moving to Florida. What I feared the most happened a few days ago when the M.I.L. Casually mentioned how much she would like to live there too. I told my wife I was gonna send her mother a brochure from the most expensive assisted living place in Naples and tell here that's what it costs everyplace in Florida.
