Thanks for talking about shadless lakes. It's hard to find information regarding the fall transition for us Northerners.

Good point about the points and shallows.

I have a dog leg with a point at the hip. I work the shallows near the foot. From shore these areas are there but overlooked. I toss a pearl money minnow 6". I just twitch it.

I get action in late November in the snow flurries. Don't be afraid to hit the dying Lilly pads too. Work the outside first.

Remember like Glenn says try fishing parallel to the shoreline. My biggest bass have come from close to shore.

Hey I'm in a northern area as well (Pacific NW).  I feel your pain.  LOL.
