Anyone have any experience with this brand, good or bad?

Good rods, American made.

I've had a few Bucoo Micros and they worked well but I'm not a huge fan of the MF action that is present throughout that lineup.

They make quality stuff from the bottom to the top of their range. Wouldn't hesitate to buy from them.

I own a Falcon Bucoo Micro series 7 foot  "TrapMaster" rod. It is a great rod for throwing small to mid sized crankbaits and rattle traps. I use it for both bass and my fall striper fishing.  It is paired with a Daiwa Tatula. It makes a great combo. 

I have a couple Falcon Cara T7 rods and they are great rods...

I had a couple of Cara series rods a while back and they were good rods. 

I still have a 13 year old Lowrider that is going strong. Very underrated rods imo.

moderate action in a lot of the line up is what keeps me from St. Croix blanks in the longer length blanks  

I havem many years old to the newer models. American made good quality. Always has been.

I fished them almost exclusively for quite a while, I still own several Cara models that I enjoy.  One thing about a Falcon rod is that you really need the opportunity to handle the rod, they tend to have their own power and action ratings more so than most other rods.  

I would put the Cara's ability to transmit vibration is the same class as the Dobyn's Champion, and St. Croix Avid, build quality is good and sometimes great, components are good but not great and they have a very good warranty, easy to deal with in most situations.   

Their upper end rods are made in Broken Arrow, OK, just a little east of Tulsa

I really like this brand of rods. Very light and sensitive, highly recommend

Great rods. I usually have a dozen or so in the boat at any one time.

Always Have the Cara Amistad , head turner and finesse jig rod ready. Also the weightless worm rod is one of the best jerkbait rods going.

Great actions, build quality and plenty sensitive. .Another thing I really like is Falcon never tried to flood the boards with staffers..They don't have to.

 

 

 

I own a medium action 7 ft Bucoo baitcast.  I use it for jerkbaits, small cranks, weightless senko's, wacky rigs.   And inshore soft plastic fishing.  It snapped on me after 3 years of use, while setting the hook too hard bass fishing.  Really it was my fault, using it for the wrong purpose.  I contacted them, told them what happened, and they replaced it for 25 bucks shipping.   Super friendly, and I could tell they consider customer service a huge part of their success.  I will always own a Falcon rod because of this experience.

I have three of the four from the modestly priced "Jason Christie" series: MH/M, MH/F, and H/MF.  They are light but solid rods.  Graphics are not flashy.  No problems with them.  I think they are great rods.

 

I have thier "Carolina Lizard Dragger" which I use as my Carolina rig, frog and swim bait rod and its perfect for those. Also I believe it is the first "technique specific" rod.

The one thing that I don't understand about their new rods is that they had the chance to make some nice changes that would have taken just a little effort and did not do it.   My biggest complaint is that they left about 27 threads on their lock down, trim some of that crap off, I don't enjoy having to rest my fingers on the extra threads.   

If you're lucky enough to live in tulsa you can usually just walk in and they'll replace the rod for free. If anyone does live in tulsa, mention the name dale and they'll replace em for free

Wish I had known this a few years ago although it may not have done me any good since my name is Dale and I didn't get a free replacement.

My number of Falcons is slightly fewer than my Fenwicks. Falcon has excellent customer service in my book. I broke an Expert....was out of production...and Falcon sold me a  $200 rod for  $80. I felt that was a good deal since Falcon had zero fault with the rod breaking.
