Seaguar is on sale on TW if you haven't noticed. Want to grab some FC for my new flipping reel I'll be grabbing soon. I was gonna check out the new-ish flipping FC, but I really do not need 20# FC in Central Illinois, plus I've heard it has memory issues. Any one have thoughts on the Flippin FC or some of the newer Seaguar stuff?

I have 20 and 25 pound. I've had very little issues with memory actually. I can cast the 25 pound easily and it's some of the strongest line I've fished. It's the only flouro I fish anymore other than Tatsu if I need to go below 20. 

I use the Flippin FC in the 16lb on all my football jig and c-rig rods. The green stripes really help with line watching.

 I don't think the memory is bad at all, maybe not as limp as sniper but it casts and handles well.. I always tie to a clear section.

I believe that would be Sunline Flippin Fluoro that has the markings. Seaguar Flippin Fluoro is all clear and is only available in 20, 25, and 30 pound test. 

The stuff labeled flippin fc has the alternating stripes.. or at least mine does..I've never used the flippin flouro.

Yes, but is it made by Seaguar, or Sunline? The OP was asking about the Seaguar Fluoro because it's on sale right now. I'd love to find the Seaguar Flippin Fluoro in something around 15 pound.

No worries, I was just hoping they'd come out with that line in a lighter size so I could use it for other techniques, maybe someday. 

I think the line is intended to be used as a leader.

 

Naw, it can and should be used just straight, no leader, in my opinion.  Here's my review on it:

 

I fish it as a mainline and it does so quite well.
