Howdy! Been reading the articles for quite a while but only noticed the forum tab recently. Grew up fishing mostly inshore around Houston, TX and Corpus Christi, TX but would fish freshwater every once in a while. Started fishing freshwater avidly after my wife and I enlisted in the Army. I only did 5+ years but my wife is still in. We've been stationed (and I have fished around) Fort Campbell, KY/TN, Fort Leonard Wood, MO (only shortly) and Fort Carson, CO. I've also fished a lot around the TX Hill Country. I love fishing for the TX inshore Big 3 (redfish, speckled trout and flounder) and all sunfish up to and including all the black bass. I'm definitely a finesse fisherman, but enjoy learning and trying different techniques. Glad I'm here!
