LC Bevyshad is it like a Shadrap?

Featured Replies

I'm lacking in cold water baits. And looking at the LC Bevyshad it is shaped like a Shadrap at least it does to me in the pics. Anyone own any? Is it like a Shadrap or does anyone know if in fact it is a cold water bait? Thanks guys!

I think it's supposed to be sort of a hybrid crank/jerk......I use it as a deeper running jerkbait and it works well.

I use it like  hybrid jerk/crank. I have been having good luck with the Duo Realis SHAD62DR lately. Priceda little bit higher than a shad rap, but it's plastic and has a weight transfer system that allows for much easier casting than the shad rap. It comes in a great selection of colors too.

Sweet, will pick some up. @Bluebasser86 I trusttrust your opinion, if you could give me some jerkbait recommendations in my other post or here I would really appreciate it. Thanks man.

I remember a bassmasters classic several years ago that was up north, and it seemed like half the field was throwing the smsll bevy shad.

I like the LC Bevy shad a lot, but not like a traditional JB. Not my fav cold water jerkbait, but it catches numbers in warming cold water for me. Unfortunately, (or fortunately) pickerel think they are M&Ms.
