I actually have one myself and really like it being that it's $40. It's held up for about a year and a half and is still catching tons of fish.

This is it before I used it.

I'm saving up for this reel. It comes with a life time warranty. Isn't that awesome or what!

Nice guys! I guess I was told wrong on that Abu Garcia. A friend of mine said that you can get a lifetime warranty

New cheap setup.  I got about $40 in the whole combo.  Rod is a Daiwa Aird X I paid $21 for at Academy.  I was trying to match the ugly gold reel.

Gold reel in the middle looks like a shimano calcutta conquest - that's a good one.

You're right. It looks more like machined art than a fishing reel.

LOZSteve is correct.  It is a Conquest 101.  It works even better than it looks.

My do a little bit of everything combo that is always with me on every trip out.

Retail on the reel is $399 but they can be had for $350 and there's about $260 in extra's on top of that. Google Steez SV103 to see it all stock.

Went into my local tackle shop for some football jigs. Left with a Shimano Expride 7'3" XH/MF. On sale for $189.99, no tax. Pretty stoked to get it setup with a Metanium, but it'll have to wait awhile.
