I have always been a beef jerky kind of guy, especially when it comes to fishing, it makes an excellent snack.

Pb&j's, ham & cheese, turkey & cheese.  Occasional pop tarts. Chips.  Gatorades.   

 

Pop tarts and a bottle of water will usually do the trick

I take a break maybe 3 or 4 hours into fishing.  I usually have some kind of breakfast bar, and a whole lot of water.
