Great game, great season.    JB doesn't seem to like much if it doesn't fit within his parameters.

I'm a big Warriors fan so let's do this!!

  • I think they were sandbagging it. I believe when the playoffs get rolling Lebron will be huge and they will beat the other teams easily. But I'm rooting for the Warriors.

Warriors sweep Blazers. Hopefully everyone stays healthy and we get to see the two best teams go at it for the trilogy.

It will be such a disappointment if the Finals are anything other than Cavs-Warriors. They're the only teams to have swept their first round opponent and they certainly seem to be on a collision course with eachother yet again.

Hopefully Kerr will be OK and returns to the bench soon. Judging by the Portland series, I don't think the Dubs are going to repeat last year's mistakes. They've added a few wrinkles and seem a little more focused.  Go Dubs!

The Grizz giving The Spurs are hard time! Gonna be tough to win another in San Antonio though...that Fizdale rant really lit a fire under that Grizz team.

Take that for data!

So the MVP race.....Westbrook or Harden....or maybe Kawhi?

  • Super User

Jar11591, Westbrook should get the nod for MVP in my opinion. Triple doubles aside, he plays D and took his team further with less in the way of surrounding pieces. Kawhi is definitely deserving, but I don't think it's gonna be this year. As for Harden, half his points come from the charity stripe, without mentioning his reluctance to play D. Lebron is the bell cow of the league, so he'll always be in the conversation regardless. Curry's numbers are comparable to last year's MVP season, but he isn't even mentioned because for him this year it's about the jewelry....

Solid game by the Rockets last night...

Man they really thumped the Spurs. It's so weird to see SA get beat so badly but that's what the Rockets can do when they catch fire. Just a total 3-point blitz. 22/50 threes they hit.

Lucky enough to get tickets to tomorrow nights game in SA... Just hope my Spurs can figure something out and at least have some fight in em. If not, it'll be an early exit.

Had a blast at the game tonight and my boys had an impressive win.  Just hope I didn't witness the last play of Tony Parker's career...

I was watching the game and Parker have a turn back the clock game and how Houston was having trouble finding an answer. And then this unfortunate situation. Hopefully this isn't a career ending injury

Parker is out for the playoffs, and with his age and the nature of the injury, you have to wonder if he'll return next year and if he has anything left. Luckily for SA, their back up point Patty Mills is really good. He is a fun player to watch, and I think he is more of an actual point guard then Tony Parker. He is a better shooter than Tony as well. The Spurs have some dept at the wing, but Manu needs to step up big time. He is going to see a big increase in minutes and may be required to play the point at times. I still have faith that SA can make it out of this round.

In other news, is it safe to say that LeBron and the Cavs have officially "flipped the switch"?

Cavs sweep again. They are looking sharper as the playoffs continue.

I think everybody deep down wants to see this again. I know LeBron said it's not a rivalry, but he's not kidding anyone. I know I'll be disappointed if it's anything but those two teams.

I'm inclined to say you can take this finals matchup

to the bank :) .  Hard to see it not happening. Tho

I will probably be pulling for the Warriors again!

I'll be pulling for the Dubs as well Darren, just like I have the past 45+ years :D. I have to say, the most competitive second round series has been Boston/Washington and the least competitive Cavs/Raptors. Hopefully the Dubs can close out the Jazz to night and join the Cavs in the "who can get the most rest between series" category...

The NBA as a whole is weak right now. There have been 38 of the 64 games played so far that were decided by double digits, with many of them being over half way through the fourth quarter. Really only two teams had a chance at the beginning of the season.

Love all the warriors "fans" that have suddenly appeared in the last 3 years. Probably couldn't pick Tim Hardaway out of a line-up. #RunAsOne

They are fun to watch - which makes it easy to be a fan.

Is is there something wrong with that??

Another game with 10 players on the floor who 99% of nba "fans" couldn't name 3 of them. Quality basketball.

I guess I'm in the 1%, because I can name all of them. And I'm not a fan of either team. :D

Yep, your Rockets are "Runnin as One" right out of the gym and into the the off season... Go Dubs!
