I tow this 14 ft. Fisher and home made trailer with my Ranger Edge, 3.0 L V6

Boats - 1974 Lund 15 ft fish and ski, 1971 50 horse Johnny.

          1997 grumman 1254 Vee, 1988 4 horse E'rude

Tow vehicles- 1989 Chevy silverado 3/4 ton long bed. 350 engine.

                   1994 suburban 3/4 ton. 454 engine.

                   1998 tahoe 350 engine.

The tahoe is the main truck for the Grumman. The Lund is undergoing restoration but the suburban will be its main tow vehicle. The pickup is left for the dirty work. It will still carry 2 tons in the bed.

You'll notice this is my first post. I've been visiting the forum for a few weeks; just seeing what's here.

I tow a 1997 Ranger SportR82 (my wife bought it for me on our anniversary). Boat, motor, and trailer weigh about 3,100 when loaded (8 fishing rods, enough gear to keep my grandchildren trying new lures and techniques, etc).

Tow vehicle is a 2005 Dodge 3/4 ton four wheel drive with a Cummins Deisel (20 plus miles per gallon to and from work; about 18 miles per gallon towing the boat). I know it's a little overkill but I always wanted a Cummins; hard to tell the boat is back there most of the time.

Boat: 1984 Ranger 350-V  w/ 150 Mercury

Truck: Ford Ranger 4 cyclinder w/ 145,000

I tow a Triton TR20.

I tow with a 2006 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab Z71.

Towed my 2002 Xpress X54/F100 Yamaha for the first time last weekend with my birthday present the wife went and bought for me , a 2007 GMC Sierra 4.3 V-6 automatic. Did a very good job.
