So today was the perfect day for fishing. Was a small cold front with a little rain comming threw in the afternoon.  Overcast cloudy skies all day with some sun shining threw.  I have been picking apart this new lake and finally went all out! Today was insane.  I tied on 1 lure today and that was all I use. The fish were going crazy for it! Caught 71 large mouth and a new personal record , 25-27 inch 6 pounder ! Was the best day I ever had

Hell yesh man. I was shaking when I landed him ! I was so scared he got off Bc where I was fishing had weeds. And he drove Streifht down.. but when I felt the weeds move I got so d**n happy. Netted 6 pound bass with about 10 pounds of weeds. But all I was using was a spinnerbait

My best day ever which netted my PB was also on a spinnerbait. April of 2014 I was fishing a small pocket/pool 20-30 yards off a river dam. I ended up with over 40 and also a 6 pounder myself. It was a 3/16 oz Strike King spinnerbait. Little guy doing big work.

Heckuva great day for you! Right on! I wouldn't know how to act if I caught that many bass in a day. For that matter, if I caught that many in a couple days or so. Wow! Great job! Congrats on a new PB!

Thanks man I knew it was gonna be a fun day when I casted 10 times and got a fish on every cast ha. Then it was like a fish every 5-10 casts for awhile.  Slowed down in the later afternoon .. prob Bc I kept pulling the fishes brothers out and when I release them he went and told the other fish to watch out for me lol.

Yeah this was on the KVD series spinnerbait , those things work wonders.

Haha yeah I was , and was just talking about how awesome it would be to have a day like that. It's funny to when you see other people and they are like "oh yeah I got like 3 or 4 today " and they ask how I did .. I just tell them "yeah I got a few myself" lol

You know you just had a great day when you mixed quantity with quality and they both won. Congrats on the PB day!

It's funny Bc I told everyone st work the next day and everyone said I was making it up.. that no way a person can catch 71 large mouth in a day... they just haters
