Hey everyone, I was wondering what kind of line you all use for 6-10 inch swimbaits. Do you use straight mono? Or do you use braid to leader. Also what lb test?

Length isn't as much a concern as the weight. 20-25lb Pline cxx is a common line used.  As for exact sizes of lines used I don't know. 

Pline Xtra strong or Big Game, 15-25 pound depending on the bait. 

20-25lb mono or fluoro. NEVER use braid to leader. The stretching during casting and hooksets will weaken a short 2-3' leader and cause it to break off eventually.

15# to 30# PLine PF (Big Game okay too) depending on weight.

20 lb copoly isn't bad I've found. I would never run straight braid on swim/glide baits. 

20# P-Line CXX is all I need.  I rarely go above 3 oz. baits.

I have settled on 25 lb Sunline Armilo Defier Nylon for all my swimbaits between 2 oz to 7 oz.
