My abs look remarkably similar, but strangely they wanted some winter insulation about 15 years ago and I haven't seen them since.

I'll be in that good of shape when Colonel Sanders starts selling free weights.   Way to go AJay.

  • You are a great example for us all Ajay. "The longer we wait the harder it gets.  The first step is the hardest." I agree with you 100%   My son says he has abs and you Dad have flabs.

Workout Day 4.

When your moves are rooted in purpose, discipline isn't a chore.

It's the standard.

You stop negotiating with your feelings and start leading with who you've decided to become. #borninfiftynine

Workout Day 1.

I don't get results by focusing on results.

I get results by focusing on the habits and behaviors that get results.

Workout Day 2 ~

Success here often relies on a few simple disciplines practiced every day.

Not to prove anything, just to honor who we said we'd be.

Show up, take the right actions, and be consistent, especially when it feels hard.

Building trust in ourselves can be life-changing.

Day by day, brick by brick.

Hello my friend.

While my routine changes a bit 2 sometimes 3 times a year,

I always post the most current one at the very beginning of every video.

Including today's routine.

Which I listed below.

These movements are listed in the order I perform them so you can match them up as the video is rolling.

It should be noted that I take a day off after every workout to assist in recovery.

Stay Strong

Workout Day 4 ~

When I get it right, this training boosts my mood and

leaves me feeling energized, strong, & capable.

Mission accomplished. I'll be taking two recovery days.

Workout Day 1 on this Friday the 13th.

Driving on to fight the good fight.

Dedicated to the cause and persevering through adversity even when the path is difficult.

And the right path is always difficult.

Workout Day 2 ~ Maintaining a lean, strong, and balanced body in our Golden Years is highly achievable through consistent, functional habits, allowing us to move through daily life with increased confidence and independence. By focusing on regular strength training, balance-specific activities, and nutrient-dense eating, we can reverse age-related muscle loss and reduce fall risks.

Workout Day 3 ~ While I certainly didn't need a calendar to direct my deal,

I did take advantage of the new year to double down on keeping my diet clean,

training with a bit more intensity and the big one for me—getting the proper hours of sleep.

Every Night.

A body just knows.

Back at it with Workout Day 1 (modified)

Got a heavy dumping of snow the past few days, and today was the best day weatherwise to clear it away.

So rather than skipping the scheduled training, I dialed it back a bit to ensure I had sufficient gas in the old man tank to complete my second mission.

Done & Done.

Workout Day 2 ~

No need for music, just the clank and groan.

The old man working, silent and alone.

My POS GoPro didn't record any of the raw audio.

Still kicked ass on the training either way.

The smell of iron, tape, and matted floors,

I shut out the world once I close that gym door.

That’s a nice set up @A-Jay is that your home gym?

Thanks ~ Yes.

I put it together in 2009 at 50 years old.

Honestly, it's the best investment in me I could have ever made.

Being able to train at any time virtually eliminates ALL the excuses.

The PowerTec Leverage Machine has been awesome.

Completed one 'refurbishment' a few years back.

Went with a new paint job and motivational wall coverings as well as upgraded the floor matting.

Since the start of 2026 I have been taking two recovery days after workout day 4.

So training every other day for 4 workouts and then taking two days off

has helped me recover from the systemic fatigue that inevitably builds up.

Which keeps me fresh and motivated straight through the next cycle.

So that was me taking the long way to say,

I'm taking tomorrow off.

Workout Day 1 ~

Taking those 2 recovery days after each 4-training-day cycle has been very beneficial.

I am totally digging having the necessary gas in the tank to help carry me through each workout cycle.

Should be able to maintain this schedule straight through to open water.

Once I start fishing, the 'workout schedule' routinely gets a little helter-skelter.

So I commit to not missing workouts now because I plan on being on the water

quite a bit once my casts stop bouncing on the ice.

Workout Day 3 ~

Completed 3 working sets of the 5 scheduled movements.

I'm sure it was just me, but there certainly seemed like there was quite a bit more gravity today.
