im looking to get into swimbaits. I need a swim bait reel around 100-150$. I'll mostly be throwing 2-6 oz baits.

The cardiff is a good reel. I have a 300 size for smaller swimbaits (1-3oz). My only complaint is the drag. It doesn't take much to go from "well that's not even enough to set the hook" to locked down. That can be good and bad. Quick adjust if you need it but if you bump it at all unknowingly it could be bad news.

Cardiff is in your budget, new, from tacklewarehouse 

Keep your eyes open and you can get a used 300 Curado for around $150. The Cardiff is a fine reel too if you don't mind the round reel. 

Do yourself a favor and get a low profile reel. The Daiwa Lexa 300 and Tatula HD 200 can both be had new for under $150. The Lew's super duty wide spool and the 13 A3 for around $160. There are others but those are the ones I've used and like.

There are some good options.  You like round?  Luna, millionaire, Abu.  These are moderate cost reels that you can tune and upgrade as you get better.  The round reels are a little heavier but have good line capacity.  There are a lot of expecive options but those three will last and have resale value if you decide to upgrade later.
