I have 2 Abu Revo Rockets that I do like a lot and they cast far.

You should be getting good distance with the Patriarch.  I've got a couple of the XTs and they cast very well.  Like mine a lot.  Reasonably light, look nice with a tough finish, brakes set lower than on any other of my other reels and good casting distance.
