Back to the Basics

Featured Replies

I am in my 40's now and just moved back to Georgia from the midwest.  My children are much more self sufficient now and have freed up some time for me to now to return to a hobby that I loved as a kid.  My grandfather used to tell me if you were too busy to fish that you were too busy and needed to rearrange your priorities.  Well, I guess it is now time to make up for the last 25 years of being to busy to fish.  I found the site off of links from an In-fisherman magazine and am hungry to learn.  The equipment has all changed and the lures are all new and shiny.  I plan to learn a lot this winter and purchase what I need to get out on the water again next year.  Thanks in advance for your assistance and I look forward to the times ahead.

Greetings and you should find all the info you need to restart your fishing addiction. Everything from specific advice on where to go to opinions on gear. Just don't ask which is better, braid or mono. We've already had that argument. Its mono...right?

Glad you are getting back into fishing.

It is more of a science than a sport these days, with so many variables you can actually go nuts.
