ISO Best fluorocarbon??

Featured Replies

Any opinions on the best all around fluorocarbon for weightless senkos?  Also let me know if you are selling any. Looking for 12lb

sunline sniper is my favourite normally throw 16 lb braid to an 8lb fluro leader

Sniper is solid

Tatsu has been my go to

Vicious Pro Elite Fluorocarbon.

300th flouro thread. 300th time ill give my vote to tatsu.

All I have read on other sites it seems the vote is for Tatsu, if you have the money.  Being a retired cheap skate, I have settled  on Invizx the last two years and it has never failed on the Potomac where every thing takes a beating.  I use 15lb, which is only .013" in diameter and that compares to some companies 12lb at .013"..  I buy 1000yd spools on Amazon for $89, and just recently read on another site where Walmart is even cheaper then that.  I just use 8lb mono on my spinning reels, but have tried braid and flouro over time, and have settled on 8lb mono.  Never lost a fish with it.

P-line tactical fluorocarbon

Pline, Berkely lines, Sniper. It all works for me.

Sunline Assassin.   Price is right.   Pretty good abrasion resistant and super slick.    Line diameter is slightly larger than sniper and it is definitely more stretchy.   I use it for my reaction baits and am very pleased.

From what I have used, I like Gamma Edge the best.

Since I don't have a money tree, I've only tried a

limited number of brands (Berkey, Gamma, BPS, and

a few others).

Guess for me, since I only use it for leaders, I'll never

try many. Esp. since I get pretty equal results with

Yo-Zuri Hybrid...

Seaguar blue label leader material on a spinning rod with 15# yellow power pro. Only way i throw a senko weightless unless i skip the leader all together. Never backlashed and havent had to change line for 3 years now. And i throw one weightless alot. Its a go to confidence lure for me.
