Howdy from NE Kansas

Featured Replies

Hey all. Been on the forums a couples days now. Figured I may find a couple more fishing buddies by posting here. Senior at a University in Kansas graduating in May. Going down to San Antonio in the late summer for military training (I commission as a 2LT in the Army in May) - hopefully I can get some good costal fishing and lunker Texas bass while I am there. I'm in my early 20's and have fished my whole life. The last couple years as I have been in school I haven't fished as much. Always been good at fishing for no reason. Fished mainly Kansas and Missouri bodies of water for largemouth and catfish. Done a bit of noodling. Had my fare share of 15" and 16" crappie. As well have been down fishing in the flats of southern Texas for redfish and sea trout. Recently I got into fly fishing which inspired me to sink my teeth back into fishing. After catching about 40 trout in two days I knew something was missing in my life - fishing. So now I am hooked again. I want to improve my performance and understanding of the techniques and technology I didn't before. So now I am here. I've dropped a couple photos of my finer catches.

For some reason I can't upload anymore photos - it keeps telling me there is an issue and to contact for further information. Anyone got a clue?

Welcome aboard! Great catches, man!

Welcome!! I’m not sure if you’ve found it but there is a KC area thread that is pretty active and from the little posting I’ve done everyone is really welcoming to new people

Never mind, I hadn’t checked in awhile and I see you found it

Welcome and I also want to say thank you for your service.
