Good choices guys!

Finesse worm normally, colors depend on situation...motor oil/chartreuse, watermelon, junebug...murky, clear and muddy...

What I have confidence in, changes seasonally.............BUT................these 3 things are tied on year round. A drop shot rig with a nose hooked finesse worm, a wacky jig with a stick bait, and a finesse flipping jig.

Whatever I have tied on is what I put my confidence in. But if I had a choice i would pitch a jig or Texas rig 100% of the time. 

Mine would have to be a 7" zoom worm in brown with black flecks Texas rigged with a chartreuse or white perfect skirt between worm and sinker. And a Texas rigged Berkeley havoc in green pumpkin. 

I do pretty well with some kind of senko and frogs for my bass fishing.

Senkos in colors of Watermelon,Green Pumpkin,June Bug.

You really can't go wrong with those colors.

Ned Rig (ZMan TRD in California Craw with a 1/16 oz Shroomz jighead)

 

I noticed if I am throwing any other bait & not getting bit, my first thought is to wonder if a different bait would work or if I am just in the wrong area.  With a Ned rig, if I am not getting bit, I know I am in the wrong area.

Just started to fish more last year but I like my wacky rigged green with black flecks yum dingers, caught 30ish fish on a whole bag one night.

Green pumpkin senko texas rigged. In the morning a hula popper or booyah pad crasher.

Sweet lures, those are some of the ones I throw on a regular basis.

Doesn't matter if I'm in a boat, kayak or on the bank...whether its a river or lake or tidal coves....I always have one rod that has a Rage-rigged Cut-R or Rage Bug on it -- nearly always green.

 

I catch more fish on that rod/lure than any other....because I throw it the most???...or do I throw it the most because I catch the most fish with it?

Wacky senko, black and blue rage blade, green pumpkin or black trick worm, and a swimming super fluke jr...

Hah, this is my favorite reply yet. So true. Plus if you're in the wrong bass area with a Ned rig, you'll still catch bluegills.. crappies.. pike.. walleye.. etc etc. 

These past few days it's been a swim jig. I've been fishing a lot of grassy lakes and have been doing pretty good with them. When they want something a little bit different I just t rig a soft plastic swim bait without the weight

The one that worked the best the last time I went fishing. I have many confidence baits. To name one it would be a 7" T-rigged pumpkinseed power worm, 3/16 oz weight on a 3/0 Gamakatsu straight shank worm hook.

Pumpkinseed? Is that a cross with green pumpkin and watermelon seed? Just curious, guess I've never heard of that.

I've moved from texas rigged 6in worms, to texas rigged senkos, to wacky rigged senkos, to 4in Keitech easy shiners, and now to drop shot. Of all things, drop shot! A lot of folks say that drop shot is a novice technique for small fish. While most would be correct, they are also incorrect. Novice or pro, drop shot can be killer. When the bite is tough, I always have a drop shot rigged ready to go.

When nothing else catches fish pull out a ned rig and a drop shot. You will catch big and small fish. You pretty much summed it up for what to use and catch fish.

A 4 inch black/blue tube- tx rigged with a rattle inserted and 1/4 oz weight.

It is just such a versatile bait for the lakes I fish.  Flip it, drag it, jig it, swim it, or shake it.  You can throw it in wood, rock, weeds, or even drag it over moss.

I have caught some monster bass on ned rigs and drop shots with 4" baits.  Works wonders on pressured fish late in the season.

I haven't seen hardly anyone say that they have confidence in cranks or Alabama rigs.

That's the only reason I was able to pull some good fish we needed to make the cut a few weekends ago. Very very effective rigs.
