My biggest is the people  who back down the ramp and they are not prepared to launch . They get out ,   unhook the transom straps  , remove the motor brace , dig out the life jackets , put sun screen

So they reel backwards?  Wow...

Ford F350 dually towing the DuraCraft 15' aluminum 2-seater crappie boat.

That's funny, in an overkill sorta way...but I can't see it raising anyone's blood pressure in a pet peeve kinda way.

1. Seeing people fishing with spinning rods with the reel facing the wrong way.

One of my brothers does this.(He doesn't really like fishing and hardly ever goes) He says he would rather reel with his right hand so he just flips it over fishes away. It drives me crazy, which may be one of the reasons he does it.

You have an awesome opportunity to mess with him here.  Move the handle to the other side...

Doesn't know it's reversible. This reminds me of TV shows and ads where they obviously know nothing about fishing. They'll have a fly reel on a baitcast rod or a combo with no line on it.

I think this thread is running about 50/50 with this!  LOL!

1.  Life is too short.

2.  Sometimes you're the idiot.  Sometimes I'm the idiot.  I bet it evens out in the end.

Well (F350 Dually With DuraCraft Crappie Boat Guy) is a friend of mine and it doesn't really raise my BP. I just find it funny. He also has a big pull-behind camper. He justifies the $55K dually to pull the $65K camper because he can camp once a year for cheap at some campgrounds. How many hotel stays or house rentals could he afford for $120K? Probably $150K after financing. But I know he just has to have the biggest of everything. When I was looking to buy a new pickup, he strongly discouraged me from anything smaller than a standard bed 1500 because you need to be able to carry 4'W sheets of plywood or sheet rock (Duh!). Told him I'd buy whatever fit my needs best, especially since I've never carried a sheet of plywood in my life. It just looks so funny when he pulls his little 2-man boat with the big dually.

A new pet peeve was discovered today. Some young kids came up to the pond I was fishing this morning and were scooping dinks up with a net from the shoreline. Kudos on being able to scoop them up without spooking them. But I dont understand what the heck you are gonna do with dink bass?

People who park their boat and truck at the fuel pumps taking two spaces up then walk inside to get whatever and NEVER actually get fuel! ? All while I'm waiting to actually fuel up.

To be fair, where are the gonna park? Spaces often can't hold a truck with a boat unless it's at the pump.

Nope. This mainly happens at my local raceway. Which has an enormous parking area with plenty of space away from the pumps. But people are too lazy to make the walk so they take up the pumps closest to the entrance of the store.

I'd bet the same way.
