Looking for a not too expensive knife sharpener that will get the job done.  Any suggestions out there, need help!

I like the sharpening systems made by Lansky. I use one that has a small pedestal and clamp system. You can get several different types of sharpening stones for them. You can also use different angles depending on what kind of edge you want.

Thanks guys I appreciate the hefp.

I run a lansky for my hunting knifes.  I use a cheap pull through style for my cheap filet knifes.

I have a Lansky stone system and a Smith's pull through. I'm still learning how to use the Lansky properly. I always wanted a work sharp but I don't really trust myself not to take half my blade off lol

I use a stone and a rod. Always have and get them shaving sharp. But my buddy swears by that work sharp thing.

I went out and bought a Work Sharp.  Had about 12 knives to sharpen, did an excellent job on all of them.  Nice design!

Work sharp...awesome and quick

I bought the Rapala 6" filet knife out of Wal-Mart not long ago, and they have a little red plastic sharpener with ceramic bars.  I've used my grandpa's whetstone, multiple diamond stones, etc, and while I can make a knife sharp eventually, nothing does it quicker than that little plastic and ceramic sharpener they package with that filet knife.
