I am looking at gettting a new dropshot rod and have been looking at the Daiwa Steez AGS 7' ML Fast. Does anybody have any experience with this rod? Truly looking for a NRX alternative for dropshot.

 

Curious to how it compares to others in terms of sensitivity such as the NRX, MB Destroyer USA, K2, etc. Thanks!

 

I don't have any on the water experience with the 7 ML Fast Steez AGS rod but the taper feels great for a dropshot. Hopefully others can provide input regarding sensitivity comparisons.

I picked up the Brent Ehrler Daiwa Tatula Elite AGS 7'1"  Drop Shot rod this spring - 

It's a M and I really like it.

I use two rods to drop shot with. First a 6'6" Kislter Helium 3 Med X-Fast and second a Kistler KLX 7' drop shot finesse specific rod. The Helium 3 is the most sensitive rod I've used but the KLX is a close second. I would add Kistler to the mix when it comes to sensitive, finesse applications.
