  • I have a rod like that. Had it for years, and have caught a lot of fish on it. I never noticed any performance problems; either casting, retrieving or fighting fish. In fact, the only problem with the

  • Unless I'm mistaken, I have not seen where any attempt to allow Kastking to react to this issue has yet been made.  Might be a little premature to start giving them bad reviews.  Every maker has at le

Looks great! How are you liking the rod? I took mine on vacation and it travelled well and fished great.

This stuff is all bout leveling expectations up front.

True.

No such thing as perfect alignment - there will always be some measurable misalignment, even if 'un-noticeable'.  I guess for some of us, the expectations for a $60 rod might include this amount of 'error'.  For others, it doesn't meet expectations.  I don't think either camp is wrong.

Took it out tonight for the first time and I’m loving it! I paired it with a Daiwa Legalis LT 1000 with 10lb powerpro and I caught some panfish with it. I am definitely glad I got the medium light over the light though, I have just enough backbone and it’s very sensitive. All the small fish feel giant now. It casts well and loads up well. I will (hopefully) be trying it out on some bass this weekend...

Awesome! Let us know how it goes. Goodluck!

Don't worry about little stuff like that... adjust it by hand as good as you can, then fish it!

Good to hear! I can vouch for the backbone and sensitivity of the light action rod. Imagine a 1 pound Bass on that stick!

I got a few on vacation. Really gets the heart pumping!

Nice work! I couldn’t imagine having any action lighter than what I got but maybe in the future I will get a light one...
