Favorite Tube color

Featured Replies

i only fish a pond with muddy water and i use zoom tubes in watermelon with green and orange flake

i love the cheap riverside tubes in pumpkin seed  they are my go to bait  they never let me down the water is fairly clear where i use them

I like either white w/ black flakes or green pumkin rigged on an insider tube head either 1/8 or 1/4 oz.

Rainbow trout in clear water or stained.  I don't really fish any "muddy" water lakes.

I have done really well this year with black tubes with red flecks.

Watermelon or smoke for clear water and black/blue for stained water. In muddy water, a tube is not something I even consider.

Cheers,

Stained to muddy water - Black

Clear to slightly stained - Green pumpkin

Those 2 colors will do it all.........

For me, in muddy water, I'll throw either black with red flake or black/blue tail.

In clear water, it depends on the area I'm fishing. I try to match the bottom as closely as I can the majority of the time so I have several shades of greens and browns. I go that route because I usually and trying to immitate a crawfish.

I like the goby color by these guys ....

ISG bass lures

I use micro munch elgordo tube in road kill cammo in most my tube fishing but I also like the strike king white bleeding tube if I am swimming the tube or the black and blue for pitching and flippin into weeds.

Most of the lakes that I fish are pretty clear.I have a lot of success with a 4" watermelon candy tube. Also do well with green pumpkin.
