Ummmm, is it me or was something missing from that video?  I have no clue what they're even marketing or advertising after watching it.

Watch it again. You didn't notice the trolling motor prop, and before that what appears to be a trolling motor head?

I see the outline of a dark object and a spinning item later on.  Maybe that's it.  Still very obscure and a poor representation of what they're trying to advertise.

It's a trolling motor that Lowrance is coming out with. It hasn't been released yet (which is why it's obscure), and won't until ICAST. Supposedly it has a brushless motor would would mean more power. 

 

 

I watched it 3 times and my guess is they are making a TM with 2 cup holders in the head.

After a couple views and thinking about it. Lowrance is known for fish-finders, with the latest techs of mapping, GPS plotting and recording waypoints. How much you want to bet that this is a TM that will link via bluetooth or wired network to the upper-end plotters and let you set an auto-pilot. Mark a point on a map, the TM takes you there automatically.

Could very well be. However I did see two "leaked" photos that appeared to be from someone's garage of the trolling motor in the box and it was a cable steer. 

 

Maybe they're playing it safe considering it's their first TM, but if that were the case I think it would fall flat considering the Ultrex and Ulterra units MK and the Xi5 MG has.
