Dale City fishing flea market

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I just saw that there is going to be a fishing flea market February 2nd. Is this a worthwhile event? I've never been to a flea market before and it sounds fun, not too far of a drive, only 35 minutes. What should I expect?

I go most years, but missed it last year.   I think it is well worth the drive and 2 bucks.  Good mix of cheap used stuff and a number of custom makers.   What fisherman can pass up an opportunity to buy more stuff we don't need?

Please post the info on it as I am interested.

What if any food vendors do they have?

I am used to the MD shows where you almost always get a pitbeef vendor.

Lol...No clue...but I'm oblivious to mobile food .....I did buy a hot dog from a food truck a couple years ago....but that was a real anomaly

Man, you are missing some great grub.  The HoW fleamarket east of Annapolis has pitbeef and oysters some years!

When I lived in Balmer and went to all the beer festivals there, I would always look for Constantine's greek food truck.

No food.  Just lots of good, gently used gear.

For some reason, I have trouble finding the info on this most years.  Glad this thread was easy to find...and also glad they still use the same link as above that @joshua van wyk posted above

Hillendale Flea Market is under new management this year. Same place and same time as listed above. $2 to get in. No food at this one and that may change in the future but plenty of places to eat in the area.

It's always good to get there early to find the best deals.
