Went to SirebertOutdoors sight for the first time today and the bait monkey hit me pretty hard. Went to buy some of their bladed jigs and ended up buying over $50 worth of lures.

6 - Spinnerbaits- I don't even remember clicking them I swear!

 

I've actually heard good things about the Spinnerbaits on this forum, but don't recall anyone mentioning the bladed jigs. Anyone use them with some success?

Yes, the Fogy will catch 'em.  I can't prove it, but I feel like the football-head also makes the Fogy deflect a little better than a narrow-headed bladed jig.

The only bladed jigs I care to throw anymore is Mike's. I always have one tied on and have had some super productive days with them.

Foggy's do catch them. I do have struggles keeping it low in the water column. I like fishing this bait with keitech on the back.

Assuming the keitech, and its dense profile, help keep it down. Anyone have any tips to keep it low in the water columnn?

Allow the lure to hit bottom and slow roll the bait. It's really quite simple.  Ideally you want 

to tick the bottom.

They work good. I pair mine with a twin menace or craw chunk. One of my favorite baits to fish.

The only difference I've found is the the blade starts "vibrating" slower than something like the Z-Man but if you gove it a little jerk once your ready for the retrieve you are good to go. A little more economical and MUCH higher quality workmanship and hook. Give Mike a try!

Another thing I believe but can't quite prove: The bubble fogy, with the blade that has the holes in it, seems to stay a little deeper than the one with the solid blade. 

 

 

I prefer it over the original zman. Better hook and skirt. Blade action is about the same as far as I can tell. 

They are all I fish anymore. I normally make one big resupply order every year. As many have pointed out they are well built, great hook, and great colors. I also prefer the football head on these since I’m fishing around a lot of rock and riprap. I did pick some bubble blades up this year to try, I haven’t used these yet.
