Was pre-fishing with a buddy for a local tourney yesterday and I believe we developed a pattern in the muddy water.  Just for kicks was throwing a Silver Buddy and caught not one...but two turtles....yup.  Both were in the back left foot in 15 ft of water.  I know one was a fluke...but two....that's a pattern!!!

Try and remember how long the pause was, depth and time of day. Just duplicate that and you should be golden Pony Boy

I've yet to catch a turtle, but I know it will happen eventually. I bet removing the hooks was fun. 

Impressive, I have managed to catch a muskrat in the foot.  They look cute in the water but once you see them up close they sure aren't cute anymore. Taking the hooks out sure wasn't fun either.

It was not on purpose I caught it below surface in murky water.

Fished the tourney Saturday....couple turtles surfaced in front of me....partner says....DON'T YOU DARE!!!!!

I will say it is quite the experience when your fishing fairly new water and it rises almost twenty feet or more in just a two or three days.....Your looking at the bank and going WOW....sure looks different.  Yesterday was a test of raingear to be sure….had to make three detours and one put it in 4x4 to get home.  Crazy.

The rain faucet finally got turned off up here. Cumberland Lake may break its all time record it is up so high right now. It is supposed to be dry for several days now and we need it to dry out. Last year we had our wettest year on record and we already have over 11" of rain so far this year.

Wow....

From what I heard we had five inches in one day and 12 1/2 so far for the month....it be wet out east!!!

No turtles …..but we had two for 6.63 I believe.  Numbers were close...over half the field blanked....was crazy.

There was 200 plus boats!!  As the saying goes....we got good points
