Hello all and my compliments on an impressive site. 51 year old, retired LE and been fishing tournaments and for pleasure since I was old enough to carry my own gear. No family and no debt so I got into long haul trucking for kicks. Love the life but it does make it hard to fish as often as I would like. Still bass fish frequently with older brother, couple of tournaments a year but have developed a strong interest in chasing stripers around the country lately.

Looking forward to associating more with others who have been afflicted with the insatiable need to fish. Home is wherever my Kenworth is...

Stripers, eh? You know what they call stripers, don'cha? They're called TRUE BASS. That says it all.

You know why Striper fishermen are the smartest fishermen? 'Cause they're always goin' to the school!

Please ignore the corny joke, and allow me to give you a hearty welcome to Bass Resource!     jj

Blue, thanks for what you’re doing out there. 22 years was plenty for me.

Jimmy, I appreciate the welcome. As for schooling? There weren’t any parking spaces at college but, there were several at the Marine Corps recruiter’s office. So I went there instead. Maybe I should have circled the block a time or two and waited for a space to open up...?

Nope. You made the right choice there, my friend. The right choice.  Thanks!    jj
