What should my drag be if I’m fishing a jig? I’m using 15lb mono.

Tight enough to set the hook. Loose enough so that your line doesn’t break. I set the drag according to line, not bait. 

Depends on how you set the hook. If you tend to set it really hard you may want to keep a light drag.

Just resist the urge to lock it down. Let it do its job. 

I usually put pressure on the spool with my thumb for hook sets and have the drag set to roughly 1/4-1/3 of the lb test line. This allows for you to get a good hook set and still allows the drag to do its job. In my experience with this method I get better hook up ratios and land more fish than just locking down the drag.

About 3/4ish locked down, maybe a tad more on a jig or trig, so around 10 lb of drag.   Looser with lighter treble hook lures.  No complaints.

I am not very scientific when it come to setting drag.  I wrap the line around my hand, pull slowly, see how it feels until it is about the right feel and fish.  Seems to have worked for years.?

I do the same but just wrap it around my pinkly.  Once it starts to hurt a little I back off a click and that's my setting.  

I set mine basically to just before the failure point of my line. I usually free spool my reel while fighting a fish instead of using the drag but in case of a situation where I can't get the spool released, I want the drag to slip.
