Duracell AGM Marine Battery

Featured Replies

Anyone using Duracell AGM trolling motor batteries? Sam's has the group 31 for $179 and group 27 for $158. Seems like a good prices.

Those Group 31 are about the best bang for your buck in a battery. Sometimes they go on sale for $159.

Make sure the 30 month warranty applies to trolling motor use and your battery charger is compatible to the AGM. Good price!

all their marine batteries were $20 off last month. I grabbed 2 series 31 wet cells for $79 each:D.

NOTE:.............Their 31 series wet cell's are the size of other's 29 series. Not sure about the AGM's.

My Sam’s club only offers an 18-month warranty on them while Batteries Plus offers the 30-month warranty but charge a bit more.

A lot of people are running that battery, they just don't know it.  The Duracell is an East Penn battery, Which is also the Deka, Bass Pro shop and a number of other different brands.  East Penn makes batteries under a number of different labels.

I bought 3 of the group 31's at Sams last month.  I don't have a lot of time on the batteries yet, but they seem to be working good, and I've read of a ton of great reviews on.

Thanks for all the feedback! Decided to pick up the group 31 AGM at Sam's $179 vs $245 at Batteries are us. Time will tell if it will out last regular wet cell lead acid. Installed it in the boat only to find the bow mount trolling motor quit. Luckily it was just foot micro switch only $20.

I run 3 of the AGM group 31s in my boat from Sam's. I'm 8 months in with no problems

They're really good batteries. I've got 2 in my Stratos and 2 in my johnboat, all group 31's.

Running three of them.

2 for trolling and one for cranking.
