A while back I had asked you guys. If anybody  had purchased a product from Sportsman's Outfitters. I had never heard of them and wanted to know if they were legit.Some of you replied back that they are. So I decided to buy a Lew's Tournament Pro from them. I ordered it Sunday night.Shipping is free over $50. I got a confirmation email last night and a text that it's been shipped via UPS. Shipping tracking is texted to me. They seem very professional. Thanks to you guys for being a good source of information. I can't wait to get the reel.

I have ordered several items from them:  tatula reel, tatula rod, 2 fuego LTs and a few other small things.  Everything arrived in perfect condition, quickly!  Very happy with my experience.

Got notice it will be here Wednesday. Bass Pro order placed same night is supposed to come Wednesday also. Not bad for free shipping.

I have had a good experience with them.  But return shipping is not free so keep that in mind if you decide to order a rod. 

I have ordered multiple rods (Dobyn's) and reels (Lew's, Daiwa) from them - no problems at all.  My favorite place to purchase from.  In case anyone is wondering - an order from them is indeed eligible for any rebate/special offers from Lew's. 

 

Regarding the new Lew's Tournament Pro, I just used mine for the first time the other day - was blown away by it, felt great!  And i was fishing with a Daiwa Zillion too, but the Tournament Pro was no slouch!

I used to order gun stuff from them from time to time and never had an issue. I either didn’t know or didn’t remember that they sold fishing tackle, so thanks for the reminder.

Reel came today along with zman mag fatty z worms and sufix ,832 braid. Oiled the reel put it on my Johnny Morris Patriot rod and started casting. Awesome reel. Great service from Sportsman's Outfitters.

Sportsman's Outfitters are a drop ship company. So when you order a Dobyns rod, Dobyns is actually shipping you the rod directly. Sportsman's doesn't have inventory in a physical location. They are just a conduit for companies to move inventory. They are not a real store, which is why their prices are so low.
