Still one of my favorite "night" topwater lures.

Love the sounds a jitterbug makes!

I threw one last night and for the first time in as long as I can remember I didn't get a single blow up.  The noise they make and the associated toilet bowl flush is one of my favorite things to have happen while fishing.

I still use a Musky Jitterbug at night. I don't catch many, but usually it is a very good fish.

I the 80's   Bassmaster had an article about the Musky jitterug and how it was a great nighttime big bass lure . I bought one and never caught a bass on it . I have heard several explosions but they may have been spooked carp .

I have a small black one, a jointed white one and a Hula Popper. I admit I rarely use them. I did catch a nice bass on the HP a couple summers ago.

That exact model and color has nearly given me heart attacks from massive top water strikes on hot, summer nights. Gurgle, gurgle, gurgle.... pause...BOOM!!!!!

That is my best topwater. Second is a pop-r. 

It's all cool until a huge owl picks it up and gets hooked in the foot, takes off and breaks your rod, trust me.

Jitterbug was catching bass for me 50+ years ago and still works now.
