Single Willow Blade Spinnerbait

Featured Replies

I prefer to use a Single Willow Blade on a Spinnerbait for Smallmouth and Pike. I usually just buy a normal spinnerbait and put my own blades on them.

Does any company sell a spinnerbait 1/4oz—3/8oz with a Single Willow Blade.

Thanks!

There may be one but I haven’t seen it.

Try e-bay.  There are a few.    jj

I would buy a short arm single Colorado spinnerbait and put in a Willow.  Those work pretty effectively in deep water.

Closer to 20 seconds to cut the arm, slide out the beads, clevis and front blade, put them in the proper compartment of the 3600 box, bend the wire back and close it around the swivel, but yeah, easy piecey...

A single willow works well fished fast in clear water for me.

Redfish magic comes with a single Colorado blade and elastic shad body but very easy to change to a willow. The arm is similar to a beetle spin so you can also change the jig head weight or shad body to a skirt.

A lot of different companies make single blade spinnerbaits. The only issue is most of them come with a Colorado blade so if you prefer a willow blade just swap it out, a quick fix.
