I am looking to purchase a baitcasting travel rod.  I am trying to decide between the 7 foot medium and 7 foot medium heavy.  Anybody have experience with either?  I will be using this as an all-purpose rig.

In general, a MH is a more useful all-around rod. Since the Arditos both have the same 'bottom end', I'd go with the MH to have the ability to toss some 3/4 spinners/chatters with trailers...remembering that the rated lure-weight is just the head and doesn't include the hook, blades or skirt.

I have both (in the same tube). Both excellent rods. Shop around, I was able to purchase each for under $100 brand new. 

 

I find myself assembling the MH more often than not, but I'm not much of a light tackle fisherman. I would suggest what MN Fisher said above. Quality rods for the money and versatility. Whichever you choose, you won't be disappointed.

I have the 7ft MH. Put that sucker to the test on the Big O back in Feb. Caught a bunch pitchin 1/2 - 3/4 oz jigs. Nicest travel rod Ive ever had my hands on. 

As an alternative, I bought the fenwick hmg travel because it has multiple tips with it, M and MH. Roughly the same price.
