LSU-Ole Miss Football Game

When the Ole Miss QB outran the LSU defense four times it reminded me of an old LSU player, Sammy Martin, who was a speedster.

The Fighting Tigers did prevail but they have a lot of work to do on the defensive side of the ball.

Lucky for the Fighting Tigers they have Arkansas as their next opponent followed by Texas A&M and tehn Georgia.

Will be an interesting three weeks in NCAA football coming up.

my brother, an avid lsu fan, frets over the lsu defense ... believes gotta have a championship defense to win the nat. championship ... i'm old school but how a defense performs today relative to the past is very much different ... that's for another thread ...

we will get to see uga dogs sec leading defense go up against lsu's high octane sec leading offense ... uga. does have an edge in the rushing stats .... kirby smart will try to win the national championship with an old saban formula ... i like lsu by 14 pts ...

I've heard all year long that as soon as the Tigers play an elite defense we'll lose.

Texas was supposedly DBU

Florida was suppose to be the one

Auburn is supposed to be the toughest text

Bama was suppose to shut us down according to everyone

Tigers are 10-0 & still looking for that elite defense!

With the Bayou Buckeye at the helm all our defense has to do is make a couple stops & he will score.

This ain't your grandpa's Tigers!

As a Tennessee fan,  I spend at least 30 minutes a day hating Alabama.  That said,  I was very sad to see the injury to Tua Tagovailoa.  I hope this doesn't impact his long term NFL career prospects.  He's a very talented guy.

Ole Miss grad and fan here.  I'm happy with our progression this year...first team in a few years that isnt miserable to watch.  Plumblee is the most electric player we've had since Dexter McCluster

I vote for Eli as the most exciting player.

Although you have to admit that the most important play in the history of the LSU-Ole Miss football game good ole Eli fell on his behind.

P.S.  I also was in Tiger Stadium when Eli took the Fighting Tigers apart so everything evens out.
