Reel to pair with Orachi?

I ordered the Megabass Orachi Diablo. I plan on using it for swim jig, underspins and maybe spinnerbaits from time to time.

The 2 reels I've been thinking about are the Curado DC and the Chronarch MGL. I don't have any experience with either one, so was wondering what your guys thoughts are who have fished them. I have read that the Chronarch is better suited for bottom contact presentations tho. Is that true?

I'm open to other suggestions as well. I do have a handful of Curado K's and Tatula's (and a few Lew's) which I am happy with, so I could go that route I suppose. But I wanted to try something different this time.

Thanks.

Great rod! I really like the Chronarch MGL but the DC is nice too. You can't go wrong.

The Chronarch MGL as it's a sweet reel! They are so smooth and refined. I'd opt for the Chronarch MGL. Lightweight, smooth and one of my favorites.

Chronarch MGL! The MGL spool will spoil you in a good way lol. Such a good reel. I do prefer the Chronarch MGL for bottom contact as it feel lighter and balances my rod better

I have both, and for moving baits I would recommend the DC-I prefer an aluminum reel for resistance baits. Congrats on the new rod!  I have been curious about that model myself for a while.

The JDM Scorpion MGL is also sweet, and the red would match the red on the snakes tongue.

Another vote for the Chronarch and, if it's in the budget, the Bantam would be worth a strong consideration. Not to make this more complicated, but some places had BF specials on Metanium MGL's for $299. Should be a great fit with any of these reels or those mentioned above (including Daiwa).
