Looking for a hair jig maker

Featured Replies

I'd like to have some hair jigs made, anyone here take orders? If so please PM.

I know @smalljaw67 makes these as I've watch him tie them on his YT channel, but I don't know if does for others. He may be able to direct you in the right direction.

I will take a look at my past sources and reply when I get a opportunity. My local source passed away and so did Doug "Skinny" Harris in Texas. OO Mod (Jeff) was a site member and had a good contact in Tennessee that I would recommend and will look for the info.

Punisher Lures makes craft hair jigs, try contacting them.

I might know of some one.  What style and sizes are you wanting to get?

Thanks Tom. This post was inspired by all of your posts about hair jigs, and not being able to find anything that was like what you described. I have a couple of the PBJ 1/4 OZ punishers that I added some black to. Good point on going direct to them.

3/8 and 5/8 cover/arky-ish head. Too many weeds around these parts for a football head.

Purple, black, and brown on all the jigs.

Not trokar hooks. Thanks!

@A-Jay Looks like he's hanging out with some shady people in some third world countries. That's exactly what I was afraid of.

PM sent, hope it works out for you.

Good luck and enjoy the upcoming Holidays.

Tom

I tie all sorts of hair jigs, and sell some too, but honestly, I'm in ice fly and ice rod mode.  I wouldn't be able to get anything done for you for quite some time.  I'd be less busy in spring/summer, because I mostly do ice stuff.
