Life's progression.

Tomorrow my little girl will change her name and all that marriage entails. The boy she's marrying is a great kid who I've known for 30+ years. They are goal driven and know what they want.

It is not your traditional wedding in the sense that there's no long flowing White dress, no real flowers (mostly greenery) and is not in the church. It's their wedding and I respect that. It's more like a party with a wedding thrown in the mix.

It's going to be a happy day and while she will be beautiful I very much miss that little girl that was all daddy's. The progression has been so fast.

Anyway what an amazing culmination of the years and the joy mixed with sadness on a day that my smile will not cease will be a memory that I will cherish!

Sarah and Ethan, live life to the fullest, always do the right thing, and the blessings you provide be plentiful. I implore you to never forget your Southern roots and know that wherever you are you are being thought of with love!

Congrats to them!

My wife and I skipped the regular wedding as well. Got married at the courthouse and used the money for the reception instead.
