New War eagle Jig???

Featured Replies

Anyone know anything about the new war eagle "jiu jigsu" jig? Saw it in the latest bassmaster magazine but cant find anything online about it. Designed by Andy Morgan and has an owner zo wire hook in it. Like I need any more Jigs but looking forward to seeing this one.

It is a Classic release. It's on Tacklewarehouse's website right now.

Yep.  Saw it this morning.  The natural and phantom brown colors look good.

Can't wait to check em out!

Not sure I understand....these are priced at $7.  Are there 2 (or more)?  It's a lead bass jig, right?

You ever buy any bladed jigs?

I must be missing it, looks a lot like the old Strike King Denny Brauer Premier Pro Model jig, just with a Zo-wire hook and over twice the price?

I have a few Chatterbaits, bought a few when they first came out too (catching fish with them, less so).  But a flipping jig at $7 might be as expensive as I've seen.  I used the heavy gauge hook finesse jigs from War Eagle and I don't think 2 cost this much.

I have a hard time paying more than a few dollars for a jig. My best jigs cost less than $2 each. Doesn't hurt as bad when you break off. I fish a jig 12 months out of the year and I'll be damned if I'm paying that kind of money for one

Also, for that price, I figured the skirt would be hand-tied. Nope, band.

What is the marketing hype to even try to justify this price?
