Dobyns Champion 702c listed uses

I saw this on the Dobyns site as the description for the 702c rod. What would you people think is the difference between "shaking worms" and "Shaky Heads"?

I know it's not too important, but just wondering what their two descriptions might mean. It's a great shaky head rod for sure, but now I really want to shake some worms in this new mysterious way.........flick shake?1269245910_ScreenShot2020-02-26at7_32_56AM.thumb.png.df237d5f7ef14a2fd0b66bca7839d30a.png

Shaking worms and head probably same thing, not sure what they exactly mean by shaking worms, that’s a vague description for sure.
Haven’t owned a dobyns 2 power but should work well for wacky styles, prefer spinning with braid myself for wacky.

Shaky worms are flick shaky wacky rigged  and nail weighted /Neko rigged for example where shaky heads are shirtless light weight jigs with worms/creatures. 2 power Dobyns Rods are medium light + compared to most other 3 medium power rated casting rods.

Without actually picking up the rod with a reel attached and trying it you will never know how it feels to you or what other lures and presentations it may be used for.

I have this rod, and know it well. Just confused by Dobyns terminology. This rod is a solid 2 power.

Thx. I already own 702c. It’s a great rod for what would be $200 with this sale.

shirtless

I know you meant skirtless, but I like shirtless too. Makes sense.

My focus isn't very good these days and tend to reply to keep my mind occupied on trivial matters like bass fishing.

The rod is excellent for 1/2oz blade baits. Sensitivity is great, the tip is just right for setting the hook with trebles and the backbone/ medium action is just right for keeping those fish buttoned up.

Shaking worms is also known as Doodling.  It's a vertical presentation of a light jig head, many times an aspirin style head with a small finesse worm or baby fluke style lure.  The goal is most often to catch suspended fish.

I’ve used mine the past couple years throwing 1/4 oz jig head with a 4” keitech. Very happy with balance using an SLX.

Small poppers, shaky heads and small grubs on light jig heads excel on this rod.  I use my 702 dx mainly for shakey head and rarely miss or lose fish.
