Where to fish in south-eastern pa

Featured Replies

Hello guys I’m in south-eastern pa outside of philly. It’s considered a virus hot-spot and all state parks nearby are closed. There’s now very few places left to (legally) fish. Anyone have some spots around se pa that are non-state parks?

Delaware, Susquehanna River. Bunch of farm ponds to fish. Ask owners and you will most likely be granted permission.

French Creek State Park in Berks co. still open.. still a ton everywhere.. some may choose not to disclose lol.

All of the above and the Schuylkill River!!

Where exactly outside of Philly are you?

Gonna try and hit French creek state park today, and stop at hopewell/Scott’s run. Been a while since I’ve been up that way

@Adam Markley how'd you do? French creek state park seems like a great smallie spot.

I got lazy and the quarantine got the best of me, decided to hang at home today. I’ve only ever caught largemouth in either of the French creek lakes, although I know they hold smallmouth, the state record was caught there ?‍♀️
