I try not to comment on products I have never used, but I have heard nothing but horror stories about these hooks. The most frequent is they break at the 90 degree bend.

it might be because less people willing to try new stuff maybe.

or it could be that their sales weren't high enough to offset the cost of manufacturing their products in China.

It was because they sucked. The shape of the bends made them weak. They didn't even bend out, they just broke.

so far it was quality then, not the design.

Possibly, and probable. I had someone explain to me how unless you really really beefed up the hooks, the design was destined to snap in the corner. I'm not an engineer, and he made sense, so I believe it.

That is what I saw in YouTube clips, anyway I got X and XXX strong for 5/0s, I don't know how can they snap, I guess I need to wait and see, so far they close up everything again till April 19.

Yep, I do not use them all the time, but have used the 3/0 and 4/0 a lot over the last two years.  Yes, they work and hold a Senko really well.

any breaking on 90' corner?

Never used them @ATA, but a friend did throwing a senko during a team tournament. He explained they held fish well when I asked what kind of hook he was using and why. Then my buddy gut hooked a good tournament fish and it wasn’t  possible to remove the hook due to the design. We were able to save the fish by cutting the line at the eye, and my buddy then tied on an EWG hook to use the rest of the day.

Never.  Don't know where that came from.  Every time I have used them I have gotten good hookups with no problems associated with the hookups.  I debarb them as I have always done on all of my single hooks, so gut hooks are easy to remove.  Before I bought mine an old bull headed friend told me I would never get a Senko on it and they are actually great for threading on a Senko and keeping it on.  Like anything new in this sport there are nay sayers who are critical without ever trying it.  I don't sell them, just use them LOL

i was given a pack of them awhile ago and used them fishing senkos.  As mentioned above they hold a senko great and I had no issues hooking fish or keeping them on the hook.  Was there anything special about them?  No I didn't see any other advantages of using them vs my usual Gamakatsu hooks.  I think because of that its hard to compete against the other hook brands on the market.
