Featured Replies

after a smackdown on green and brown bass yesterday throwing shadow raps around, i quickly realized the hooks are hot garbage and almost every single treble was getting bent out. what is everyones go-to treble replacement for your hard baits?

For most cranks and TW would the KVD 1X Strong 2X Short be a good choice?

Shadow Raps sink slow, adding a heavy 1X or 2X strong hook will cause it to sink like a rock. I like Owner ST-36 hooks for replacing jerkbait hooks but they are also light. You may want to try the Gamakatsu TGW nano finesse trebles as they are marketed to be a light hook that is stronger.

If I have to replace trebles - Owner ST-36 is my choice as well.

Doesn't the Shadow Rap slowly rise, not sink?

Edit: Nevermind!

Owner stingers st-36

if your on a budget I got some on eBay that are pretty close to the owners. 6 bucks plus shipping from wLure.com took 6 weeks to get them but well worth it for some quality cheepys.
