Finesse worms

I tried 4 inch worms , western weenies , neds... It did not result in better fishing . I've come to the conclusion that bigger baits work better at least for me . Even when fishing clear water the dinky lures have not performed like normal sized ones .   Six inch Texas rigged  Jelly worms really whack them . Thats about as finesse as I go .

I use the Trick worms 4" & 6" the most, 4" & 6" Ribbon tails and curly tail worms which Zoom both makes, and one of my favorite I found accidently years ago is the Big Bite Squerille tail worm which has a floating tail..It is designed to be a shaky worm, but it works really goon on any rig, and I love the Motor Oil color with a yellow tail cause it was the only color I originally purchased.

Bass Pro has the same worm which I have in junebug which I also use now......Of course a stick worm is hard to beat, but there are tons of good finesse worms. The GYB and BPS Cut Tail worms are also really good, heavily salted similar to the pro senko which I used to love but have not found them on sale in years.

Zoom Finesse Worms, any color that says magic at the end but my favorite are the green pumpkin magic.  My favorite rig is a weighted wacky rig.  I use a 1/8th oz owner weighted weedless wacky hook.  I have been slaying them for years with this bait, caught my PB on it.  I never leave home without 1/8oz owner weighted wacky hooks and a pack of zoom finesse worms in green pumpkin magic.  Oh and 20 come in a bag so even if you lose one on each fish, you catch 20 fish with a bag, not a bad deal.

Zoom Finesse in black on a Buckeye Spotsticker Pro 1/8 oz jig head at night once the water hits 84 degrees. Tried many others, it just works.

Mine is a strike king fat baby finesse worm, or if I’m really trying to go small then the regular finesse worm. Pretty much all finesse worms work, but I really like the strike king ones because the end of the tail has what looks like a spoon on it, catches a lot of water when you shake it and has great action. Other ones I like are the flick shake, Yamamoto neko senko, and 4 and 7” power worms.

I remember, as a kid, helping my dad pour his own worms.  Mostly a curly tail pattern.  What mold is this one?

Thanks.  I miss those days.  Too bad as a kid, you don’t realize how important those times are.
