Wiggle wart style...

Out of the regular storm wiggle wart and all the various other brands similar style crankbaits (6th sense curve, Spro rock crawler..etc) which baits do you prefer?

Regular Rk crawler dives deeper than a wart so i use both. Havent tried any others like the curve. There is a smaller rk crwler that dives similar but i havent found a need to expand beyond the wart because i like them so much.

Any colors in particular on the wiggle wart? I know to match forage and water conditions to my lakes...but do you have any favorites?

I like Major Craft Zoner Hunter better then the original Warts!

The current WW isn't that great IMO. The 6th Sense bait isn't very much like a WW style bait either, again IMO. Luck-E-Strike G5 is the best WW imitation bait I've found and offered in some ugly colors just like the old warts. I still have a good selection of old warts in case I ever get back into tournaments, but the Luck-E-Strikes and KO WW blanks get me through pretty well otherwise.

Being a Table Rock guy I have to choose the Pre Rapala wart first. I throw it every time as long as i can get it to them with it.

When they move out some, the Rk Crawler runs deeper although I think it hangs up more than a wart.

One that doesn't get talked about as  much is the discontinued RC 1.5dd  and deep little N . They are about the last option before they get off a crankbait .

Since Blue already mentioned it, the Lucy E Strike bait was really good , They called it the Wart Hog at first and got sued over the name  . If you can find a few that don't leak they are worth picking up.

I've seen you mention these several times...they look like a cool bait.

I've looked at the G5 on tackle warehouse more than once. They have some cool colors and appear to dive shallower than a wart so I may pick up a few.

I'm intrigued by the pre rapala warts but I won't pay what they want for them.

I use pre Rapala and newer versions. Patterns produce well. Pretty simple crankbait.
