What Lubrication is on a Senko Worm?

Featured Replies

Greetings,

Just wondering what the lubrication is on Senko worms.  Notice it more with older bags of plastics but it is on all Senko worms.

Darn Senkos cost soooo much but their softness and perhaps their oily lubrication/scent are a couple of their secrets.

Love the input.

Be Well.

I know they smell a heck of a lot better (to me-maybe not the bass) than Berkeley Power Worms. They flat out stank!

Most likely, Yamalube   :undecided:

I think it's just some form of oil to keeps them soft.

More likely to keep them from sticking to the molds before packaging.

Oh that reminds me about Gary Y's other business that is not related to fishing.

"We offer over 200,000 units of semen for sale."

Not sure I want to know what's on the worms! But hey, they work so well! :)

Nothing but salt.  Taste one.
